Pueblo Holandés
Pueblo Holandés is a picturesque village with architecture that can't be found anywhere else in Cuba. Its houses are famous for their tall, narrow design and steeply pitched roofs, which resemble the Dutch building style. It is located on the Turiguanó island, 18km away from Morón. Most resorts in the area offer tours that include a stop in this fairytale town.
While most locals refer to the town as Pueblo Holandés, the official name is Celia Sanchez Manduley Community. She was the revolutionary who inspired its construction of this whimsical town.
