Yarmouth Dennis Soccer Club
Fewer things are more American than New England and baseball. The Yarmouth-Dennis Red Sox go head-to-head with teams in the towns of Bourne, Brewster, Chatham, Cotuit, Falmouth, Harwich, Hyannis, Orleans, and Wareham in the Cape Cod Baseball League. It has been a stopover for many college players on their way to the majors, including Nomar Garciaparra, who went on to play for the Boston Red Sox, Oakland Athletics, Los Angeles Dodgers, and Chicago Cubs.

This historic church was constructed in the mid-1800s by a group of followers of a theologian named Swedenborg who were collectively known as the Yarmouth "New Church". The Yarmouth New Church Society turned over the structure to the Yarmouth New Church Preservation foundation, which works to restore and maintain its stunning beauty. It is located in the historic Yarmouth Port Common district.

Built in 1820, the former home of American author and illustrator Edward Gorey, which he purchased in 1979, has been converted into a museum to preserve and celebrate the life and works of the Cape Cod native. Gorey's works include a large number of illustrated books that have been popular with children. The museum is open from April through December annually, and guided tours of the home are available.
