Historic Partenkirchen
The guide was updated:Walking through the Historic Centre of Partenkirchen, each step leads you further into long ago times. Follow the tracks of the fresco painter Heinrich Bickel who decorated the „Fraundorfer“ Inn at Ludwigstraße with a gorgeous typical country wedding. Nearby, you will also find the local Werdenfels Museum. Miraculously, the former merchant’s building was not impaired by the Big Blaze of 1865. Nowadays, history and ancient customs of the Werdenfels Region are exhibited in the five-storyed house.

Historic Garmisch
There is much to discover in Historic Garmisch. Walk along Frühlingsstraße and the nearby alleys and listen to the histories told by the famous "Lüftl" paintings on the houses' facades, in which you will understand them even if you do not know any Bavarian.
A nice detour leads you to the “Alte Kirche” (Old Church), which is a nice Romanesque-Gothic church dating back to the 13th century.

A guided tour to the Ski Jump at Mount Gudiberg introduces you to the world of these fearless jumpers. It is in this way that you can discover a field that you otherwise only know from sports broadcasts, such as from the famous Four Hills Tournament, for example.

AlpspiX
On top of the of Mount Osterfeldkopf. You can experience fresh air, breathtaking views, and the magnificant panorama. You can enjoy being on your own: watching mighty summits, and the vastness of it all.
The AlpspiX is about 50 metres above the top station of the Alpspitzbahn Gondola. There are two steel platforms, both 13 metres long which cantilever over the abyss.
